The 3007 SHOT foldable ear muff has been designed for occasional and professional use. Without any pressure the ear cups can be folded simultaneously into the headband getting a compact unit ready for transportation or storage. The 3007 easily fits into large uniform pockets or belt bag when not in use.
The tension level of 8,2 N (58,6% of the limit of 14 N tolerated by EN 352 !) still will not lead to loving hearing protectors, but will for sure increase the acceptance of the wearer.
By a special treatment of the tools the surface of the cups offer a good resistance against visible scratches.
Ear cushions can be ordered as PVC foiled supersmooth pads or (optional) with ELASTEX 3500 ear cushions.
These cushions take it easy: they can stand sweat even in the long run (no shrinking), agressive cleaning liquids and tool attacks far better than any PVC foil product (All ear muffs we know use PVC foil as cover material for the foam inlet). The surface seems to be rougher but slows measurably down the sweat production in the heat.
Stainless spring steel wires and the stainless steel headband provide constant clamp pressure (tension) no matter what temperature the wearer is working in.
Spacious cups and wide ear cushions grant a high comfort level.
The 3007 has been designed for intermittent noise, and those who frequently enter and exit high noise environments.
