The 3016 JET helmet mounted hearing protector has been designed for professional use.
The tension level of 9,3 N (66,4 % of the limit of 14 N tolerated by EN 352 !) still will not lead to loving hearing protectors, but will for sure increase the acceptance of the wearer.

Ear cushions can be ordered as PVC foiled supersmooth pads or (optional) with ELASTEX 3500 ear cushions.
These cushions take it easy: they can stand sweat even in the long run (no shrinking), agressive cleaning liquids and tool attacks far better than any PVC foil product (All ear muffs we know use PVC foil as cover material for the foam inlet). The surface seems to be rougher but slows measurably down the sweat production in the heat.

Stainless spring steel wires provide constant clamp pressure (tension) no matter what temperature the wearer is working in.

It can be choosen from 3 positions: working, airing and rest. Working means the cup is sitting on the ear, airing allows the wearer to get the clamp pressure off the ear just by pulling both cups into the airing position. The rest position can be achieved by twisting the cups up to the helmet where they can sit on the shell till the next operation occurs.

The 3016 JET has been designed for the reception of the 4300 visor carrier, which can be easily mounted and adjusted (for different helmet peak sizes). No tools required.

Spacious cups and wide ear cushions grant a high comfort level.

We did not spare a thing to equip the 3016 JET with brandnew features as well as welltried first class components making it the first choice for all, who have to use it frequently.
